Zenzap raised $44 million in a recent round led by investors including Bessemer, Lightspeed, and The Garage, and launched AI agents in its workplace chat app.

Zenzap is a work chat app for teams that typically coordinate on their phones, such as restaurant and store staff.

Inside the app, groups include both humans and AI agents that collaborate on tasks.

Agents can connect to more than 400 apps, including CRMs and shift-scheduling tools.

Users can schedule a recurring task by describing it in a chat message, and any changes to data on a connected service require the user’s approval.
